This report assesses the potential for clean industries to deliver local economic growth by zooming in on two areas with a genuine reason for thinking they can benefit from the transition to green energy: Aberdeen and Grimsby.
Aberdeen is felling the effects of the downturn in North Sea Oil and gas, without any transition forthcoming with green industries which have failed to plug the gap.
Grimsby – the wind fleet has not delivered the anticipated transformative benefits.
All this investment in green energy. Who will it benefit?
