16.09.25 Scottish Highlands to be blighted by hundreds of 190ft Pylons
Daily Telegraph – Hundreds of giant “super pylons” are to be built across the Scottish Highlands as part of net zero plans.
Power company SSE has said it will imminently submit a planning application for 550 190ft pylons in the Scottish wilds
The pylons will carry six 400,000-volt cables from the ancient Highland village of Beauly to Peterhead on the east coast for transmission down to England. The line will help connect remote Scottish wind farms to English cities.
